NASGGA 2026 Overview


The National Scouts & Guides Gathering Africa (NASGGA) 2026 is a continental jamboree that brings together Scouts, Girl Guides, and the International Scout and Guide Fellowship (ISGF) to celebrate unity, culture, leadership, and friendship.


For 10 days, participants will gather at Shai Hills, Ghana, surrounded by nature, to share experiences, build teamwork, and learn from each other through fun and cultural exchange. 

Objective of the Camp


NASGGA 2026 aims to:

  • Build lifelong friendships and partnerships.
  • Develop teamwork, social skills, and leadership abilities.
  • Promote cultural exchange through fun, music, and creative activities.
  • Encourage environmental sustainability and peace-building.
  • Provide a platform for young people to embrace diversity while preparing for a sustainable future

Target Audience


NASGGA 2026 is designed for:

  • Scouts and Girl Guides (ages 12–60).
  • Scout and Guide leaders, trainers, and volunteers.
  • International volunteers and ISGF members.
  • Parents and guardians of participants.
  • Government ministries (Youth, Tourism, Education, NYA, YEA, Environment, Foreign Affairs).
  • NGOs and development partners (especially SDG-focused).
  • Diplomatic missions.
  • Corporate sponsors (banks, telcos, beverage firms, logistics companies, etc.).
  • Media houses.

Event Launch


The official launch of NASGGA 2026 is scheduled to take place on 18th November 2025 at the Laboma Beach Resort in Accra, Ghana. The event will host approximately 150 invited guests, including Scouts, Girl Guides, ISGF members, government officials, development partners, and media representatives.

It promises to be an inspiring and memorable occasion featuring vibrant cultural performances, keynote speeches from distinguished guests, the official unveiling of the NASGGA 2026 brand, and engaging networking sessions designed to foster collaboration and excitement ahead of the continental gathering.

Camp Information


  • Venue: Shai Hills, Ghana
  • Duration: 18th – 28th August 2026
  • Identification Pack for Participants: scarves, t-shirts, woggles, ID tags.
  • Facilities: campsite store, designated safe zones, medical services, smoking areas.
  • Requirements: Participants must complete medical declaration forms and consent for media use.
